Howdy,
In the immortal words of Kevin's parents when they woke up to realise they'd slept through their alarm in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York... WE DID IT AGAIN.
Christmas came early this week with another double product launch.
On Monday, we gave Raspberry Pi Pico 2 the gift of wireless connectivity.
Pico 2 W is built around our brand new
RP2350 microcontroller, featuring the tried and tested wireless modem from the original Pico W. Priced at just $7, it’s the perfect centrepiece for your connected Internet of Things projects.
Then Wednesday rolled around and we decided to launch the much-anticipated
Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 into the world. It's the modular version of our flagship Raspberry Pi 5 and offers an ideal form factor for embedded applications, enabling you to leverage Raspberry Pi 5’s powerful hardware and optimised software stack in your own custom systems and products. Prices start from $45 for this product.
Our friends at Revolution Pi showed off their Compute Module 5-based product, RevPi Connect 5. They've been designing and manufacturing successful products with Raspberry Pi Compute Modules for years and wrote us
a guest post to mark the launch of our latest model.
And to further cement the Christmas thing, we thought we'd put together our annual Christmas shopping guide to help you choose a gift for your favourite tinkerer, maker, and/or nerd. How festively helpful we are.
Ciao ciao for now,
Ash
