Run-time error 5:Invalid procedure call or argument
I have been running a small app to backup OE for years (same app without
updates its) and now all of a sudden I am getting the above error message.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this message to pop up?

Quick Launch Doesn't Stick

I have:
Unlocked Taskbar
Placed Icons on the Bar
Locked Taskbar
The next time I re-boot the system the Quick Launch Icons are missing.
In the Taskbar Properties I have checked:
Lock the Taskbar
Keep Taskbar on top
Group Similar items
Show Quick Launch ...

I had problems with my main hard drive (HD#1) - Windows would load normally
and mouse and key board worked but all the icons were dead - could not load
programs - did System Restore with three previous restore points and still
had same problem - could not believe System Restore did not solve this
problem - ...

Blocking spam

I have a spam filter which works ok but
I keep getting the same spam message (Viagra)
on my outlook express email
I have highlighted it and then gone to
messages and hit "block message" and
the message is deleted.
Next day I get the same spam.
I get no other spam
Is there something else I can do?

XP (MCE)on a Dell Dimension C521 with just one user.
I cleaned up my personal stuff a bit, sending a few files to
the recycle bin.
I then went to the recycle bin, looked over the list of
files to be deleted and gave the command to empty the bin.
I got a noise sort of like a drill running and the message:

Anti-virus question

Is it OK to continue to work while an anti-virus (in this case, Norton) is
running, or should the anti-virus be given full access to the computer?

I use Windows XP pro. My PC has two WD SE16 WD2500KS SATA 250G hdds.
When I start the PC in the morning I am hearing a whirring noise
coming out of the PC and I think it is the C drive.
Where can I read up on how to add a drive, and mirror everything on
