unable to wake up system

I leave a pc running unattended sometimes for a week at a time, and
the problem is when I return, the screen is dark, and the PC does not
respond to moving the mouse or hitting keys on the keyboard.
I have been rebooting, but I suspect this is a setting issue.

While working on setting up my "new" computer I discovered several utility
type programs come up as a window within a window. I see two sets of

Erroneous "My Digital Camera" system folder

In "my computer," there is a "my digital camera" system folder (with a
generic icon, the very first one in SHELL32.dll); since I don't have a
digital camera, I wonder: why is the icon there, and how can I make it go
away?

Printing return address labels

I have XP with Works Suite 2003. Ican't print return address labels. I am
using the Microsoft task program and Home Depot labels. I have set it up
properly I think and it goes through all the motions of printing labels but
will not lay down any ink. The Lexmark W125 printer works great in all other
respects ...

Preloaded XP

I got a factory refurb with XP Pro SP3 preloaded but no media. It came with
a sheet telling how to put it back to ground zero via a hidden recovery
partition. Is that the best I can do? Am I forever without media?
