Which program file is executed?

I have two related questions. I am using Win XP SP3.
1. How do I know what program (folder and file name) is executed when I
click on shortcut?
For some shortcuts, the answer seems self-evident: right-click on the
shortcut icon, click on Properties, and look at Target in the Shortcut tab.

Start up hang-ups

Acronis TrueImage installation destabilized xp

My late uncle's computer was passed to me. It was pretty unstable. I thought
I had better make a mirror image and I used Acronis TrueImage. During the
installation of the program the computer restarted. Now I can't get it to
complete a bootup, not even in Safe Mode.

How to delete virtual CD-ROM drive?

I have created a virtual CD-ROM drive with Instant CD/DVD. But the software
doesn't offer a possibility to delete this drive again. If I uninstall the
drive in the Device Manager it occurs again if I restart my computer.
How can I delete this drive manually?
