Xp has stopped printing. Printer checked on another PC.

Xp has stopped sending any document to the printer.
Printer checked on another PC and is working ok.
Drivers are up-to-date and have been unistalled and re-installed.
Is there any way to re-initialise the printing function in Xp?
Can anything be re-installed to Xp?

faxes opening in Paint??

Winxp(home) and built-in xp fax program.
Not sure what I've done but all my faxes are now opening in Paint as .tiff
files.
75% of incoming faxes are deleted so I don't need/want Paint/Paint-Shop-Pro,
etc. opening them.
Would like to reset them back to open in Picture and Fax Viewer.

Tiff files from microsoft document image writer

I have a pdf document consisting of multiple pages & I need to convert
it to multiple page tiff file. I was advised to use microsoft document
image writer which worked to a certain extent - it saved as a multiple
page document but it was in black & white. Is there a new driver that
prints in colour?
