Failed to upgrade windows 2000 pro

Dear All,
I have Install Windows 2000 Professional Service Pack 2 on Desktop computer
Dell Optiplex GX150, after i installed the OS, i try to install service pack
4, but i got error while extracting the file, the error message is "files
corrupted".. please help and advice

Guidance on installing 2008 server in 2000 domain

I want to get a new server and load server 2008 standard version on it. I
want to install it in my current 2000 domain and at point in future make the
2008 server the DC. Can someone point me to paper on what I need to do and if
it can't be done let me know.

I am currently looking into upgrading my ms 2000 server to a ms 2008 server
w/ a 64 bit processor.
I noticed that the highest memory upgrade I can do for this 2000 system
right now is 2GB. I know I will need at least 4GB of ram for the new O/S.
Being a newbie to all this. My question is .... Can I put 4 GB ...
