Getting statistics about index catalog?

Good morning!
Can anyone suggest a way to obtain statistics from an Index Service catalog?
Specifically, I would like to obtain a list of indexed documents, and a
count of
words indexed for each document.

Hi,
I am using Indexig Service on a Win 2008 R2 server. Configured the
ISAPI & CGI restrictions etc. for the .htw file. When I pass in the
url for the file to be shown, i am just getting a blank page in the
IE
browser. This all works great in XP and 2003 Server without any
issues.

Cannot get index service to read friendly names file

I have created a friendly names file and created the registry entry
pointing to it in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
\ContentIndexCommon
I have restarted the server but it will not show the custom properties
friendly names in index service properties.
The file contents are:

image files, in one catalog (Info) but that they should be indexed in
another (Photos)?

Strange XML Issue

I've got index server cataloguing a directory containing XML files. If
I query the catalogue using a keyword containing the word "of", for
example "Raiders of the lost Arc" it will not find an XML file
containing this phrase. However if I rename the XML file to .txt
