Can't download as non-admin in Vista or later

When I click the Browse button a UAC dialog comes up. Even if I enter the
password for an administrator account nothing happens. I don't have this
issue in the administrator account (I'd like to use my non-admin account
though) and don't have any issue with the Browse button in XP as non-admin. I
can't type ...

Up until now I have been a loyal MS user. I have recently purchased a laptop
with Windows 7 installed. I now here that MS wants my computer to report to
it on a regular basis. I think this is a slap in the face to all legitimate

Hi,
now that Virtual PC for Windows 7 is provided as an ordinary update, it
would be great if it were available in the update catalog or even in the
Virtual PC section of WSUS as a feature pack, just like
WDS/Silverlight/PowerShell/etc...
This would simplify deployment A LOT!

Selected to Many updates

The plan was to select all updates needed for XP (32 bit ) . I have about 435
in my basket and it will not display the (cart) to allow download. I have
tried clearing cookies and all tmp files with IE8 off. But the basket still
remains.
Does anyone know how to clear the basket and start over?

ATK0110 ACPI Utility driver not in catalog

On Windows 7 systems that we setup using WDS, the ATK0110 ACPI Utility driver
is not installed. I tried to add the driver to WSUS, but found no listing
for it in the Microsoft Update Catalog. The funny thing is, if we check
online for updates using Windows Update, it finds the update and lists it as

Update confusion with Office 2007 converter

On my desktop I have Office 2003 (laptop has Office 2007). I recently
received an attachment in .docx format (2007). I downloaded the converter to
my desktop and opened the document. Now on my desktop (which has Office 2003)
I receive update notices for Office 2007. Should I ignore these? Hide them?
