Nope. Your smartphone (and your other tech) doesn’t need a 100% charge to run efficiently. Keeping your battery life between 20% and 80% is your best bet.
To keep your battery healthy, top it up with short charges once it hits 20%. Unplug it at 80% if your device doesn't have optimized charging – keeping it plugged in at 100% will stress the battery.
And if that battery does conk out on you? Repair it, rather than reach for a brand new device.
