Estate & General Goods Online Auction 27th March - 1st of April 2025
It Hayward’s has prepared another of our popular Vintage, Antique & Collectable timed online auctions and it’s another big one with over 900 lots. Bidding starts at 5:00pm on Thursday the 27th of March with the first lots closing on Tuesday the 1st of April at 6:00pm.
We have a great variety of interesting items in this sale, with a room full of antique, retro and more modern items on offer. There are NZR plated serving items and a cast metal NZ Railways sign, vintage kauri ballot boxes, fishing reels and rods, vintage croquet sets, crow-foot balance scales, Prufrex automotive testing kit, classical style garden urns, gold dredge bucket, large cast iron wheel, metal advertising signs, Whites Aviation and other vintage New Zealand scenic photographs, a small Edwardian album of north island travel photos, a lantern slide projector, cameras, wind-up and electric gramophones, a vintage Neutrodyne radio, a banjo, button and piano accordions, harmonium, lap harp, bagpipes.
There is a pair of reproduction Odd Knutsen Luna design slung leather lounge chairs, a pair of vintage Eames style leather upholstered swivel lounge chair with matching footstools, a Le Corbusier style chaise longue, reproduction scrolled open-arm lounge chair with matching foot stool, an impressive Georgian country oak tall 10-drawer chest on chest, and lots of attractive and functional antique and reproduction furniture on offer - desks, chairs, hall tables, bedside cabinets, display cabinets, Davenport, pull-out and drop-front writing desks, Chippendale style chairs, deco oak chests, mirror-back dressers, sideboards, dining suites, tea trolleys, gramophone cabinets.
You’ll find 2 brass orrery models of the solar system, medical anatomy models, money boxes, metronomes, an awesome cased set of 1980s WWF Superstars of Wrestling collector’s cards, a Gimini game console, battery powered and wind-up toys, boxed Hornby O gauge railway locomotive sets, track and rolling stock and boxed retro Lincoln Toys Micro Models die-cast cars. Whisky advertising figures, vintage Steiff hedgehog family, European and Canadian carved wood figurines and wall art, tribal weapons and carved items, reproduction flintlock firearms, carved timber walking sticks, an impressive stone polar bear and other carved bone and stone animal figures and ornaments.
