Hayward’s is holding an Estate & General Goods timed online auction this week, starting today, Friday January 31st with the first lots closing at 6:00pm on Tuesday the 4th of Feb. There’s a wonderful variety of goods on offer this week, from old to new – a drum kit, a glockenspiel, art glass paperweights, lots of costume jewellery, a mobility scooter, rowing machine, exercycle, bicycles, tools and workshop gear, and numerous bottles of NZ and other wine, port, sherry and assorted liqueurs. There are lots of books - NZ history, ships & railways, children’s books, LPs, CDs and lot of DVDs, cameras, binoculars, a to-be-assembled telescope, radios, retro gramophones and hifi speakers, components and accessories, home theatre equipment and TVs.
You’ll find a few fabric covered 2- and 3-seater settees, an ottoman with fold-out single bed, a very large deco style dining table, retro lounge, dining and occasional chairs and stools, vintage and reproduction desks, sideboards, bookcases, leadlight china cabinets, tea trolleys, mirror-back dressers, bedside cabinets and chests of drawers, towel rails, bar stools, plants and planters, white ware, kitchen mixers, microwave ovens, crystal, glass and china, tableware and cutlery, woven cane baskets and picnic sets, wool and mohair blankets and throws.
Die-cast vehicles, toys, puzzles, and games, comic books, coins, stamps, postcards, prints, comic books, magazines, jigsaw puzzles, ceramic, plaster, composite, timber, brass and glass figurines and souvenir items, studio pottery and art glass items, fine china tea-ware, retro glassware and kitchenalia, floor rugs, framed art and mirrors, lamps… You’ll find photos and descriptions of everything on our website, where you can create a wish-list and place your bids. If you’re in town, you can inspect everything in-person here at 5 Carroll Street in Dunedin.
Viewing times for this auction are Saturday February 1st from 9:00am–12:00pm, Monday and Tuesday from 9:00am – 5:00pm with the first lots closing Tuesday the 4th at 6:00pm.
