No Reserve Tool Auction 27th February - 4th March 2025
It’s time for another of our popular online tool auctions and it’s a massive one - with over 980 lots on offer, there’s bound to be something for your workshop, garden or garage. Only a few lots have reserves, so it’s a great opportunity to grab a bargain; trade professionals, DIY enthusiasts, gardeners, hobbyists, and everyone else are encouraged to come down for a look. The auction starts on Thursday the 27th of February and ends with the first lots closing at 6:00pm on Tuesday the 4th of March.
We’ve got a great assortment of hand and power tools, fixings, hardware, building and carpentry materials, gardening, recreational, hobby and workshop items. There are many as-new tools in original boxes, including corded, cordless and pneumatic air tools – drills, sanders, grinders, shears, pop rivet guns, nailers, staplers, routers, cutoff tools, rotary hobby tools, multi tools, ratchets and more. There are 2 metal working lathes including a Myford engineer’s lathe with Emco milling machine, a couple of welding setups and some nice portable table saws including a Makita MLT100 on a folding wheeled stand.
You’ll find lots of other workshop gear, some bench-top and some mounted to home-made timber stands – compound mitre saws, bench grinders, scroll and band saws, drill presses, polishing, grinding and sanding stations, large commercial workshop equipment including thicknessers, table saws, lathes. Three of the large workshop items are off-site – if you are interested in viewing these, please talk to a staff member for contact information.
Air compressors, paint sprayers, and lots of hand tools including socket sets, hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, chisels and more. Clamps and builder’s levels, timber and metal tool boxes and chests, workshop heaters, multi meters, micrometers, vises, folding work benches, tool chests, heavy duty metal shelving, lockers, cabinets and drawers. There are also many box lots of consumables and fixings, nails, screws, sandpaper, adhesives, drill bits and other tool attachments and accessories.
Extension, step and multi-ladders of all shapes and sizes, car jacks, a creeper trolley, motor oil, a great assortment of fishing gear including lots of rods, reels, flies, nets and tackle and tackle boxes, along with a moulded plastic kayak, life jackets and oars. Garden and landscaping gear includes lawn mowers, line trimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, spades, forks, hoes, rakes, loppers, electric mulcher/shredders, cultivators, pressure washers including a Viper Premium 4-stroke, garden sprayers, hose and reels, garden sieves and other garden hand tools.
3D printers, reproduction locomotive number plates, leadlight windows, entrance and cupboard doors, Lengths of rimu and other timber, a splashback, bathroom mirror cabinet and wall mirrors still in packaging, a garden shed kit waiting to be assembled – there’s a whole lot on offer this week, and you’ll find photos of every lot on our website, where you can create a wish list and place your bids. We encourage everyone to come down for a browse here at 5 Carroll St. in Dunedin. Viewing for this timed online auction will be Friday the 28th from 9:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday 9:00am – 12:00pm, Monday and Tuesday 9:00am – 5:00pm. The first lots will begin closing Tuesday the 4th of March at 6:00pm.
