| 10. The Question I Get Asked the Most |

| Are you Keto? I started keto over eight years ago, and it completely changed my life. I’ll always be a huge fan, even if I veer off the keto path sometimes. Before keto, I was an emotional eater, struggled with binge eating and bulimia, and constantly thought about food—it felt like it controlled my life. On top of that, I had major stomach issues. But keto saved me. It gave me a sense of freedom I never had before. |

I know it sounds weird because keto has food restrictions, but for me, it was actually freeing. There were no calorie limits, no strict meal schedules—I just ate keto foods, and for the first time, I wasn’t obsessing over food. It completely shifted my mindset, helped me break old habits, and gave me a healthier relationship with eating. It also helped me figure out my IBS triggers (turns out, veggies are a big one for me). |

Keto will always be a part of me, but I’m definitely in a different groove right now. I’m focusing on building muscle, fueling my body, and allowing myself to enjoy the things I love (hello, sourdough bread). We’ll see where this journey takes me, but I’m just figuring it out as I go. |

At the end of the day, my biggest advice for anyone is YOU DO YOU! Get to know your body, listen to what feels right for you, and lean into that. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized how much I used to disregard my own voice—not anymore. I also try to keep in mind how insanely cool our bodies are. Think about how much they do for us! I remind myself of that often and try to treat mine well. 🫶 |
