The Wallace Collection: A Legacy of Art and History
Nestled in the heart of London, the Wallace Collection is a national museum that not only preserves but celebrates one of the most refined and comprehensive selections of artworks. Located in Hertford House, the collection boasts an impressive array of old master paintings, decorative arts, sculpture, furniture, metalwork, arms, armor, and porcelain. Originating from the passionate collecting efforts of several generations of the Hertford family and further enriched by Sir Richard Wallace, the collection stands as a testament to a dedication to art and culture.
