NEW TOOL - GWR 'SAINT' CLASS 4-6-0
Hornby are to produce a newly tooled model of the GWR Class 29xx 'Saint' Class 4-6-0 - with two releases planned at first recreating the iconic 'Lady of Legend' in Great Western lined green as well as 'Lord Palmer', also in GWR green. A number of detail variations will be covered to ensure these gorgeous locomotives are represented accurately.
Recreate this fascinating piece of British Rail history, when BR decided to convert Mk1 coaches into 'travelling pubs'! These are to be supplied as twin packs in either BR crimson & cream or BR green - with a restaurant car and tavern var included.

Continuing to provide current era modellers with plenty of options for modern multiple units, Hornby have updated their 'IET' tooling to over the Avanti Class 805 bi-mode units. There are also plans for new variations of the Class 390 'Pendolino' and Class 755 'FLIRT' too!

Hornby are supporting the Railway 200 Campaign for 2025 which celebrates the 200th anniversary of railway travel, since 1825. A selection of new products are to be released to coincide with this including a new variation of the Class 395 'Javelin' - featuring a secret livery that has not yet been revealed to the public!

Hornby have also crafted some new toolings for their Railroad range of low price starter locomotives and rolling stock - including an all-new model of the LSWR Class B4 0-4-0 and a selection of generic goods vans and open wagons too! These offer a brilliant and affordable way to get started with the hobby.

Hornby's iconic 'Santas Express' train set has received a major refresh to bring it up to date for 2025! This newly tooled set features a freelance locomotive and two wagons and a loop of plastic track. The loco will feature lighting and sound features, with a USB-C slot to charge it up.
