GWR 'SAINT' 4-6-0 ENGINEERING SAMPLE

Following on from its first announcement in January, Hornby have now received an engineering sample of their newly tooled GWR Saint Class 4-6-0 locomotive for review! The model is packed full of features including changeable lamp codes, a 5 pole motor, flickering firebox, a heavy diecast chassis and footplate, curved and straight footplate options, crew figures and no less than three separately tooled tender options. |

In other OO Gauge Steam Locomotive news, Hornby have also now received decorated samples for their GNR Class J13/ LNER Class J52 0-6-0ST locos! Despite their size, these will be heavy models, predominately made of die-cast metal. They will also feature a strong five-pole motor, firebox flicker effect, space for a power bank and changeable lamp codes. Three variations are expected later this year. |
