In fact, it can deliver the exact tear and tensile strength a product requires by altering the density of fibres in our Dyneema Composite Fabrics. In addition, fabrics with Dyneema have high tear strength and are used to create our lightweight, durable, and water-resistant packs, shelters, and organisational accessories.
Dyneema Composite Fabrics are completely waterproof and, unlike nylons or silnylons, don’t stretch or sag in wet weather. All Dyneema Composite Fabrics are made using 100% bio-based Dyneema fibre, which carries a 90% lower carbon footprint than generic HMPE fibre. Then there’s the energy used in our manufacturing processes – 100% of which comes from renewable sources.
