A SUBSTANTIAL ARCHIVE OF ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHS OF BANKSY'S EARLY WORK. This group of well-taken and produced photographs captures Banksy's work in and around London up to June 2007. Many of the works documented here are now lost, having been removed, painted over or destroyed. Some are apparently documented here for the first time.
ILLUSTRATED with 187 ENGRAVED PLATES of ESOTERIC CATHOLIC OCCULT EMBLEMATICA. Each engraved plate and its accompanying Latin text is printed on its own leaf (i.e. blank backsides).
120 x 181 x 13mm, box with printed label containing eleven rods, printed on all four sides. A visually stunning set of ‘Genaille’s Rods’, designed for performing financial calculations, specifically those having to do with the computation of interest.
Copy #16 of 250 numbered hardcover copies signed by Charles Bukowski. This copy has great provenance - being Bill Katz's copy, with facsimiles of two pre-publication letters from publisher John Martin to Katz (from December 1970 and January 1971), discussing Katz's prior pivotal review of 'The Days Run Away...' in Library Journal, which Martin credited for making the sale of the book, and discussing sending proofs of 'Post Office' to Katz, hoping for another Library Journal review.
